Home Visits

Most problems are best dealt with at the Surgery. This includes children with temperature and rashes who are best examined at the surgery where we have the necessary equipment. If you think you require a home visit, please telephone before 10.30 am and speak to the duty doctor. Home visits are for the elderly (over 75) and housebound.

In an emergency (such as crushing, central chest pain or sudden, severe shortness of breath etc) it is safer and quicker to dial 999 for an ambulance.

Please remember that the doctor can see at least four patients in surgery in the time it takes to do one house call.
